Join us for the opening performance of the Woodstock Playhouse Festival of Theatre 2021 Season as we celebrate the passion and diversity of the performing arts with 'Fame The Musical'. Based on the 1980 pop culture film of the same name, 'Fame The Musical' is the international smash hit sensation which follows the lives of students at our region's own historic New York High School For The Performing Arts. We invite you to join us as a passionate group of young performing artists who navigate their way through their lives and studies together at one of New York City's most famed schools for the performing arts, deliver all of the passion and talent you need after a season of dark-theaters.

Come be inspired by the accomplished dancing and the moving songs which include 'I Want to Make Magic', 'There She Goes/Fame!', 'Hard Work', 'Think of Meryl Streep' and the hauntingly beautiful 'Bring On Tomorrow'.

Celebrate the roots of theatre, music and education at the Woodstock Playhouse with a cast who share, just for you, the very story of love and passion for the performing arts which has been their story and that of the Woodstock Playhouse rooted deeply not only in New York but in Woodstock itself.

This performance is brought to the stage of the iconic Woodstock Playhouse featuring the Woodstock Playhouse Summer Theatre Cast 2020, a regional company of rising-professional performers widely acclaimed for some of the finest performances in our NY & Tri-State region.
