Well-Strung: The Singing String Quartet Holiday Show
Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.
Back by popular demand... The all-male string quartet Well-Strung has been receiving rave reviews at Feinstein’s/54 Below and all over the world, from the House of Blues in New Orleans to the Leicester Square Theatre in London. The New York Times recently called Well-Strung “A talented quartet of men who sing and play instruments...brilliantly fuses pop and classical music from Madonna to Beethoven.”
A Well-Strung Christmas marks the debut of their brand new holiday show. The new show has been devised by Well-Strung, Mark Cortale and director Richard Jay-Alexander. Selections will be performed from the most beautiful and traditional melodies, such as “Silent Night” to irreverent “newly-observed” versions of things like “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” and the famous “Sleighride,” to George Michael’s “This Christmas” … and everything in between.
There will also be opportunities for the audience to participate and walk away from the evening’s holiday celebration with some special moments they will remember and keep close to their hearts. You might even see a little snow!
Bonus Meet-and-Greet Reception will provide Royal Tier audience members one-on-one time with the members of Well-Strung, time for autographs, conversation, champagne, chocolate, and the perfect holiday night-cap guaranteed to sent you home to sweet dreams; in addition to the possibility of audience participation. Golden Tier seating is provided to all Royal Tier audience members given availability.
THE ARTISTS: WELL-STRUNG

Well-Strung, featuring Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Christopher Marchant (second violin), Daniel Shevlin (cello) and Trevor Wadleigh (viola), is a string quartet with a modern twist playing universally recognized classical pieces while singing pop music hits from the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, and other pop stars for a wildly engaging and unique experience. Conceived by Mark Cortale and Christopher Marchant, the foursome has quickly gained international attention. They have performed at the NYC TrevorLIVE Gala as well as appearances and performances on The TODAY Show and Watch What Happens Live. They have also performed with artists like Kristin Chenoweth, Deborah Voigt, and Norm Lewis and this past month they were invited to perform alongside Neil Patrick Harris at his recent Provincetown concerts. Check out their live performance on October 13th on NBC's Today Show.
